Goals:

Plasma properties are degraded by flow of neutrals  from the walls. Therefore, clear high temperature plasma can be achieved only with pure vessel walls.  The cleanness of the walls can be influenced by baking of the tokamak chamber and also by glow discharge in hydrogen or helium.  The goal is to find the best cleaning strategy to achieve the best plasma.

Equipment:

Ocean Optics spectrometer HR2000+ for range 200-1100nm (in cooperation with spectroscopy team), basic diagnostics (Ip, Uloop, photodiods), other plasma paramethers
