Transformer generators

The primary winding of transformer is supplied by two parallel integrated capacitor batteries. First is of 5 kV for plasma and its purpose is column formation. Thus it is necessary for it to be discharged in the shortest time period possible (see transformer article). Its discharge will result in distribution of local discharge induced by glow discharge into the whole volume of the liner.

The second battery is of 450 V voltage. Its purpose is the maintain of the plasma current as well as ohmic heating of the column (transformer system is often referred to as ohmic heating).
