Introduction

Aims

  • Investigation of RE generation mechanisms.

  • Investigation of RE mitigation mechanisms (Working gas, mitigation during shot termination ( prepare in advance ) )

  • Plasma resistivity as \(f:REs \rightarrow \sigma\) (does \(kT^{-3/2}\) holds?) (\(j\leq n \cdot e \cdot c\))

  • High vs low energy REs (REs popullation vs energy)

Aparatus

Possible diagnostics:

  1. Scintillation detector plus photo-multiplier (NaI(Tl), YAP(Ce)). Hits / deposited energy.

  2. PH32-based detector (Strip detector).

  3. Timepix (SXR + HXR? Timepix(3?) CdTe?)

  4. Dosimeters

  5. Cherenkov Detector?

  6. Spectrometer(s)

Possible parameters:

  1. Pressure (keep low)

  2. Electric field

  3. B field

  4. Working gas ( after n shots, maybe after glow discharge session )

  5. Stabilization System (sudden field variations may lead to enhancement of RE population).
